Washington - British Prime Minister, Theresa May looks set to become the first world leader will hold meetings with President of Trump at the White House. May is scheduled to visit the Washington next week for an audience with Trump and discuss the British-US trade deal post-Brexit.
On Saturday (January 21th 2017), Trump confirmed that May would visit soon. Downing Street has not made a formal statement, but Whitehall had hinted May visit will be conducted on Friday (January 27th 2017).
May and his team have the opportunity to show the new development plan of Trade regulations with Washington, after Britain left the EU. He also reiterated that the special relationship between the two countries was established.
