Foula Island - Population Foula Island, Scotland did not enter the new year on January 1st last. They will enter 2017 on the 13th of January.
Not just a new year, Christmas celebrations there too late. They recently celebrated Friday January 6, 2017. This is due to Foula residents use the Julian calendar system. In fact, the calendar was abandoned since the 18th century.
No large-scale events in the two special moment. Because residents there only 30 people.
