Iran Former President Dies

Iran - Former Iranian President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani died on Sunday (January 8th 2017). The scales were rated moderate and reformist died after suffering a heart attack at the age of 82 years.
Iranian media said he had received treatment at a hospital in Tehran. After a team of doctors perform a heart lung resuscitation or CPR for almost one and a half hour, Rafsanjani declared dead.
The government announced three days of mourning. Rafsanjani's funeral was conducted on Tuesday (January 10th 2017).
Rafsanjani's political life began when he became the right hand of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomaeni during the Islamic Revolution of 1979. He also helped establish the Iranian nuclear program and then support the restrictions to reduce international sanctions given.
